Wooden train: "West Gate" compatible to the IKEA set

Wooden train "West Gate"

Designed to be suitable for the IKEA wooden train set.

Doors close automatically. Gate designed with trick that always return doors to the initial position after train passing.

You have two version of gate:

1. Full gate: for the people that maybe want to modify existing model - don't try to print.
2. Separate gate and doors with built in supports - can be be printed w/o additional supports.The built in supports work good for 0.2 mm resolution and easy removed after prints.

In addition you have clean board where you can write all what you want.

If you are not familiar with any 3d app you can do this with online editor: https://www.tinkercad.com/

For assembling use pieces of filament to pin the doors and boards. Use glue if needed.

Notes:

Boards can be printed with 2 colors - the filament have to be changed after 2 mm.

Post-Printing

After printing:

1. Clear well holes in the doors (use drill if needed, hole radius is 1 mm). The piece of filament have to move free there.
2. Don't clear well gate holes the piece of filament have to stuck there.
3. Pin the doors and boards with pieces of filament.
