I wanted a seed tray with deep pods to try starting bush beans as transplants and made it parametric, so I'll always be able to print the seed tray I need.
This was my first attempt at a fully parametric model, so please play around with it, and let me know how it works for you.
Slicer Settings
I designed the trays I printed to have either 1mm or 0.8mm walls, so they could print quickly with 1 perimeter around each pod. Slicing an STL, the corners got a little weird unless I set the extrusion width for perimeters to 1.2mm or 1mm respectively, but I could set my extrusion width to equal the wall thickness if I was slicing a STEP file. It's also important to use Arachne perimeter generator.
Printed in PETG
*If you're using the pod_spacing parameter, check bridging angle and set to 45º or 135º to avoid attempting to bridge the entire length or width of the tray.
