I created a flat section on a pair of Magnetic Shoelaces so you can add your favourite icon or your initials!
The magnetic shoelaces work great plain.

8 magnets are required for each shoe. 3mm diameter x 3mm thick Neodymium 0.29kg pull (they can be found on a number of online stores.

The magnets are a tight fit and may require a blunt instrument to push them in all the way.
I have super glued the magnets in place. I suggest doing one side first and then checking the orientation of the other side so when glued all magnets will attract and not repel!

Re the bridging block I have added the letter G on one side of the magnetic shoelace this is to show the side I would glue the block into.

Print instructions

No support is required.

I have made prints in both 0.15mm and 0.2mm layers.
