This is a remix of the model by Alecs.

My version is very plain and simple and can be used for 1 Kg (big spools) and 250 to 500g filaments as well. I also closed the holes to make the design look more simple with a nice finish.

  1. I printed it in PLA, PLA+ and PETG, but PETG was the most solid one
  2. I made good experience in printing this with Extrudr PETG at 60 degrees bed temp, 0.4 noozle and 230 degrees nozle temp

How to place the spool holders in SKADIS:

a) For 1 Kg filaments, you need to attach the feets in “opposite” directions to create a “rail” for the spool

b) For 250 to 500g filaments you need to place the feets in the “normal” direction

Please refer to my pictures for more details.

I hope you enjoy this.

Important: Please ensure that you have used the metal brackets for the wall, before you attach Skadis on your wall as well. The metal brackets are mandatory, as in worst case the skadis plates have to hold over 100kg of filaments to the wall (see my wall as an example).
