These models are based on a commercial product: https://www.tattoopaintroll.com
However, the dice seem to be no longer produced? The maker has a facebook/instagram page that seems to not have been udated since 2021: https://www.instagram.com/p/CQwLYQ0rDwu/
So, I pulled two dice models from thingiverse and went to work creating my own based on their models a little bit here and there.
I would have bought them, but the only sites that seem to have them are ones that are obvious scam sites it seems. So i made my own and plan to buy the real dice if the maker ever comes back.
The two dice models i used are:
Ultimate Configurable Dice: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1919139
Custom sided D12 dodecahedron: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3521003
Ultimate Configurable dice uses images to generate each side of the dice, so I went one by one and generated each dice side. I have included all my dice here so you can see/use what i used. You can follow the instructions from those thingiverse uploads to get better instructions on how to customize your own dice. Or, find better dice models than I did.
After these prints came off the printer, I did my best to paint them for my wife to use. I have no idea if they are balanced, but they seem to work fine. Also, each dice is 20mm except for the d12 which i can't honestly remember what i sided it too but, if i had to guess my memory, i would say i did 40ish mm
Printer Brand:
Anycubic
Printer:
Photon Mono X
Rafts:
Yes
Supports:
Yes
Infill:
I did full infill of Resin so dice wouldn't break on roll
Notes:
I did these prints on a resin printer. My ender 3 pro is out of commission at the moment and it was faster to print them in resin anyway. As for printing FDM, I would use your best judgement but my guess would be to print with at least 30% infill to deal with typical use.
