The stand consists of 4 identical legs, held together by a central ring, four M2.5x30mm screws, and four M2.5x4mm heat inserts. On the top of each of the legs sits an angled magnet. Said magnet holds on to the microphone's shock mount's edges. An insert can also be added to the bottom of the leg, screwing in place the base plate.
The microphone's cable passes through the middle of the central ring and fits a regular XLR connector. To increase stability and relieve strain from the XLR connector the cable can also pass through the leg.
I use a RØDE NT2-A mic and the standard RØDE cable and it works fine. The stand's height is kind off alright for me, although could be a bit taller.
