Description

PDF

Materials:

6" x 8" x 1" wood stock

6" x 8" x ¼" wood stock

Sandpaper

Tung oil (any finishing oil should work)

Game Pegs

Construction:

For my wood box I cut it out on a CNC router

Cut off tabs with small saw

Sand down tabs on belt sander

Multiple hand sands working to a fine grit

Glue in the magnets

3 layers of tung oil to finish

Extra Info:

I decided to cut the holes for the magnets slightly deeper than I originally planned on to embed the magnets inside. After gluing in the magnets I sanded down pieces of wood to fit over the magnets creating a cleaner look.

The pegs are just normal game pegs cut to size and painted on the tips to distinguish teams.

This is one of my favorite CNC woodworking projects to date and I hope you enjoy, thankyou!
