IKEA Nymane Honeycomb Filter

This is a honeycomb filter designed for the IKEA Nymane spotlights.

Unscrew the spotlight front and remove the original black plastic frame from inside the metal tube (Use a very thin screwdriver to place between the inside ridge and the snap-in lid while pushing the black ring inside. Then repeat for the second snap-in lid and the original plastic part will come loose.

Replacing it is as simple as pushing the new honeycomb one in from the top and pushing it all the way down to the bottom, you will hear a clear snap from the new snap-in lids dropping into the ridge and your new filter is secured and ready to use.

I have included step and f3d files for anyone who wants to make custom filters on the inside by remixing the design.
