Made these blocks to ensure the Ender 6 X gantry is square to frame. Print 2; one for each side.

Simply place on top of the front upper 2040 rail, pull X gantry forward till it touches the alignment blocks. If only one side touches, then it is not square, this could be down to belt tension or physical alignment. I found my ender6 from factory had about 1.6mm physical misalignment.

Optional M4 (or M3 with washer) hole to allow securing with t-nut to the top rail. I'm not sure the front requires the locating tooth so should work fine on linear rails.

If alignment is out, theres plenty of youtube videos out there to watch but basically:

  • remove tension on belts
  • check gantry for squareness.
  • if not square, then loosen the 4 screws on the top of X gantry and pull gantry into the blocks to ensure it's now square.
  • while maintaining some pressure on the gantry, re-tighten 4 screws.
  • re-tension belts.

i printed with PLA, 0.45mm layer, 4 perimeters & 18% cubic infill. Shouldn't matter on your settings as long as both prints are same length.
