Inspired by what fellow V1E maker @PeterH already did for round sanding disks (which I printed and it's great). 😊 I'd class this as a remix except that every single polygon and face was done from scratch. Nevertheless, a lot of credit to him. I totally ran with his idea — and even his wording style.

This  simple box allows tidy storage and helps prevents curling of sanding papers for mouse sanders.  The slots in the front and back allow easy selection and removal of the required grit, and the divider tabs are marked with common grits.

This box is designed for the size of sanding paper wedges commonly sold for Black & Decker Mouse sanders.

NOTE: this is the “SINGLE” bank box version, but there is a “DOUBLE” bank version as well, in case you have a lot of sanding papers to store (like I do), and your printer bed is large enough. (My BIQU B1 beds are 235x235, and the bigger parts for the “double” version fit.)

PRINTING TIPS:

  • Print as oriented.
  • Prints without any need of supports.
  • The grit divider tabs are deliberately upside down, with the intention of getting a more readable grit designation. If you have trouble with that you could try flipping them in your slicer.
  • I printed my example (which was the “double” version) in PLA.
