This is a "lock" which means you can tell at a glance (just poke your head in the room) if the cage doors are completely closed. It's for piece of mind since otherwise to know the cage is fully closed you must physically tug on each door, there's no visual indicator. It will also prevent the doors from opening even if the lock is accidentally not fully engaged (door closed but not latched).
To use, you place the top openings on the top two door grasps, and then pull the bottom two grasps upwards until they snap inside the bottom of the print. It's the same action used to engage the door latch.
This likely also fits the Ferret Nation which is the other version of this cage with vertical wires.
I used 5% gyroid infill and draft settings and it's plenty strong in PETG.
