Hyundai Ioniq 5 key fob case

If you don't need buttons on your key fob. This case only provides basic functions like unlocking, locking and starting the car. No interactions with the key itself needed.

the model is designed for the key fob variant with 5 Buttons. To my knowledge there is another variant produces with is untested and may not fit. 

Do not touch the battery or the battery compartment without gloves when assembling → the slight build-up of grease and other substances on the battery could lead to the battery discharging more quickly.

Print settings

You can simply press on the door handle to trigger an unlock or close of the car.

The parts are designed so that they click into each other.

Clearance between parts is 0.3mm so half decent printers are required.

Recommend layer height: 0.1mm 

You need to print one top part and the bottom part. 

If you wan t to print the logo in different colors one pixel for the 1mm version is available. → There is no clearance between the pixel and model (Needs to be combined in the slicer)

I only use the .4mm version other versions are untested but the overall shape is the same

Assembly

1. If the PCB does move slightly you can add 1 or 2 layers of scotch tape in the bottom part to keep it from rocking around.
2. Place the battery in the top part (ensure correct orientation)
3. Press the parts together (keep in mind that fragile electronics is inside)
4. Test the key
5. If the fit is too loose you can glue it together (keep in mind that you need to open it after 1-3 years to replace the battery)

Disclaimer: 

• This model isn't water tight. Any kind of moisture can damage the electronics.
• Keep in mind that you will loose the physical key contained in the original case. Therefore you should be more aware of the battery running low inside the key fob and replace it early.
