Gridfinity swatch box

Made with my parametric gridfinity box.

I've seen these in the wild. But I was not sure about clearences and they seemed to be higher on sides than on top, which makes inserting swatches pain. By elevating the middle, you have no problem with aligning the sides.

Gridfinity params

• 2 by 2 grid
• 83.5mm width/height (0,5mm clearence)
• not stackable for easy of removing samples

It uses these swatches by Makuro. Printed in 3mm thickness will fit fine. Slot are 80mm long, 3.2mm depth and 30mm height. 

It fits 16 swatches.

Printing

Printed with 0,6mm nozzle in Prusament PLA. Should work with 0,4mm as well.

Some infill is needed. 

Model includes anti-corner lift thingy I made into the model. It is super easy to remove and helps a bit. However, make sure your plate is clean and z-height spot on.
