Update November 16, 2023
Version 1.1 of the Hydra AMS - Silica Dry Boxes is released.
Changes:
The boxes are also compatible with the stock AMS, Hydra AMS is not required.
Update May 7, 2023
Added a version for rectangular hygrometers. It fits this style of Hygrometers:
This version needs some supports where the hygrometer is placed since it's as wide as the box itself but it prints very easily as well. Shown here without silica or lid installed:
About
This is a set of front mounted Silica Gel Boxes for the Hydra AMS, both to lock the front of the Hydra in place and to keep the AMS dry.
The stock Bambu AMS has tabs in the front to lock it in place while Hydra does not as the print height of the Bambu printers is not tall enough to allow for that so these boxes ensure the Hydra printed parts gets fully pressed down in the front as well. They're however optional and Hydra function fine without them.
There are a few different ones:
Tip: Check fitment with one box first. If it's too tight to fit you can scale all parts to 99% and print it again. Tight fitment is intended but if it's too tight you can try this.

Print settings
All parts print without supports and they use the same sliding lid. If you want to you can use the paint bucket tool and paint the letters/numbers.
How do I get a serial number?
All official Hydra AMS supporters are assigned a serial number each. Read more here:

Notice: The serial number boxes are included in the separate zip file in the “Files” section.

Silica gel beads. There are a couple of difference options, if you're in the US I recommend going with the ones from VOXELPLA (top link) who is a partner.
I bought my beads before I was aware of the colour changing ones so mine are just clear. For the Hygrometer box you also need a small round hygrometer (mini) with a 41 mm diameter which you can pick up from AliExpress for example. I bought a bunch since they're so cheap:
You also need an M3 hex bolt (socket head), anything from 6-10 mm should work. If you don't have any at home it's best to grab the kit below, it will have everything you need for this build and many more.
Optional
I highly recommend these Nano Coated Helical Extruder Gears from FYSETC, I use them for all my Bambu printers, they're inexpensive and offer a number of improvements of the stock gears:
The hex tools are optional and you can of course use any hex tool but I like these and have used them for years for my printers:
How to use and install
Fill the container with silica gel and slide over the lid. Secure the lid with a M3 socket head, the hole is threaded, you don't need to tighten it very much.
Next, install it between each feeder. Press it all the way forward against the clear/smokey plastic at the front of the AMS to lock Hydra in place.
Here is my second Hydra AMS with the boxes in pink and the middle one with the optional Hygrometer.
View from above. The lids have a handle so they can easily be installed and removed. It's easiest to do with the spools removed, although you can do it with spools in place.
