You will need the following parts:

  • At least two printed sides
  • 10 mm diameter wooden dowels (length like you want) - for a 56 cm Skadis board I recommend 52.5 cm (Hornbach)
  • 30 x 10 mm (classical rack) or 40x10mm (bigger rack) piece of wood - for a 56 cm Skadis board I recommend 52.5 cm (Hornbach)
  • M5 x 12 mm Socket/Round head screw (Hornbach)
  • M5 x 9.5 mm Heat Set Inserts (Turmberg3D)

There is also the possibility to extend the rack by not using an extra piece of wood. You will find an extra file for each of these, whereby the piece of wood can be pushed through completely.

Assembly:

After printing, the heat set inserts are placed in the holes. Then the M5 screw can be screwed in (from behind). The pieces of wood can be plugged together (no glue is needed).
I have deliberately decided against T-Nuts Mounting System, because with a lot of spice boxes made of glass and mills made of steel I wanted the best possible stability.
However, you have to remove the Skadis board from the mounting bracket to make any changes.

Since a spice rack does not change as often as a tool wall, the compromise is fine for me.

Two different rack boxes:

In the classic rack boxes like Ostermann oder typical Glass-Boxes will fit.

In the bigger rack boxes like Fuchs, JustSpices or classical Mills will fit.

My Arragement:

  • 1 x with big rack on top with middle part
  • 2 x with classic racks with middle part
  • 3DO ASA in grey printed on RatRig V-Core 3.1
  • Printed parts were sanded so that they have a concrete look
