I needed to strengthen an Ikea Lack table supporting my printer. I connected the table to another Lack table top as a base, but it would work just as well as a double-decker.
I wasn't happy with the many many options available. I wanted something that braced the inside of the leg and the outside of the table top, while being screwed into place. I also wanted something printable without supports and with a very nice outer surface finish. I also wanted hidden screws. This is my solution.
A hidden pin locks the upper and lower parts together and serves as a locating pin that the leg fits onto. A hidden screw hole locks everything in place.
