The Reacharound (TM) camera arm product for Original Prusa Enclosure
this is a camera arm to relocate your pi cam (and raspberry pi) outside of the enclosure, in case you're worried about heat
we recommend printing the base raspberry pi case mounting plate with 25% infill or greater, and all other parts with 12% infill to save weight
additional supplies you'll need:
an extended pi camera ribbon cable, we used the one that was 60 cm (2 ft) but a shorter cable might be possible
3 zipties (of the size included with the MK3S+ and Original Prusa Enclosure)
2 m3x10 screws
1 m3x8 screw
4 m3n nuts
1 m3 screw longer than m3x12, anywhere between m3x14 and m3x20 would be fine
2 1/4-20 x 2-1/2 screws
2 1/4-20 nuts (the original recommends nylock nuts; we recommend regular)
4 1/4 washers
remember to take out your microSD card before mounting the RPI4 in the container
be sure to use the m3x8 screw for the middle hole of the base RPI holder, which is shorter so that it does not contact the PCB
this includes two backplates for the makerfocus OV5647 dual-illuminator raspberry pi cam, if you have the other kind of dual-illuminator night vision pi cam (i think it's the waveshare) you should get the alternate backplate, frontplate, and backplate attachment bracket from

the two included backplates are a tighter backplate if you want the screws to kind of wedge the camera into the backplate (this is what we use), or a looser fit if you want the camera held in entirely by the zipties (or if you decide to design a front plate for it)
to keep the camera in, we use zipties, these cover the built-in illuminator light sensors; we recommend strongly against using the built-in light sensors on automatic mode, as the illuminators can get quite hot for no real benefit, see included photos for info on adjusting your illuminators
if you want to do entirely too much work, you can rig up your illuminators to activate manually from the RPI's GPIO pins
also keep in mind that the camera is located at a greater distance than other cameras, so we recommend going with a narrow angle lens instead of the wide angle fisheye lens

it's a tight fit but without a fan, but it closes safely on my heat sinked pi 4 without crushing anything
