…Please be sure to hit like & post a make, I'd love to see your prints!

Add Linear rails to your SV01 Pro, note this mod requires you to remove the bed adjuster wheels & have either a fixed bed with the use of fixed bed spacers & nuts or you can use silicone tube & nuts for a Prusa style system.

Be sure to check out the corresponding X axis rail system here:

https://www.printables.com/model/395642-vortex-v2-linear-rail-system-sovol-sv01-pro-biqu-h

You'll need to adapt your Y end stop trigger to use this. Or you can use senseless homing with no other modifications for the Y end stop.

Print 8x Y Rail Spacer & 1x drilling jig, PLA+ is fine 0.2-0.3mm layer height.

You'll need:

2x 400mm 20x10 extrusions

2x 400mm MGN12H Linear Rails

4x MGN12H Bearing Blocks

Compatible T nuts for these extrusions, regular t nuts will not fit. M3 5mm T-slot nuts should do it. You'll need suitable M3 bolts as well.

T nuts & bolts for the rail spacers.

18-20mm bed spacers or silicone tubes for the fixed bed.

Bed Drilling Jig

Attach the drilling jig with nuts & bolts in the outermost holes, drill the holes for the bearing blocks, 8 each side. Use a drill press to make sure the holes are straight & don't wonder! Be warned the bed carrier plate is made out of cheese metal! use a slow speed & some drilling oil!! Even WD40 will do!

Drill 20x10 extrusions

Drill holes in the left 20x10 extrusion at 124.5mm from the front & 232.5mm

drill holes in the right 20x10 extrusion at 124.5mm,  from the front 232.5, 301mm, & 351mm

Add the Y Rail spacers to the two centre frame extrusions each side of the 20x40 centre extrusion. Add the 20x10 extrusion lengths using the two PSU bolts at the rear right in holes 301mm & 351mm & regular T nuts on the frame centre extrusions next to the Y Rail Spacers. Now place the front & rear most Y Rail Spacers loose for now.

Press the 20x10 extrusions sideways up against the Spacers & tighten the T nuts down.

Then add the two linear rails on top, loosely tighten rail T nuts to the 20x10 extrusions, then add the 4x bearing blocks & attach the bed carrier plate to them. Slide the bed carrier plate backwards & forward to correctly align the two linear rails & tighten down the rail bolts.

Add the bed to the carrier plate using your chosen method. Test alignment & movement then glue in the front/rear spacers then print!
