Bestagon the Hexagonal Spool holder

This spool holder can be printed without supports, requires 0 screws and only needs either 4 608 bearings or 629 bearings:

Print Instructions:

Check which bearings you have:

608 - ID:8mm, OD:22mm, W:7mm

or

629 - ID:9mm, OD:26mm, W:8mm

And print the two matching files one “6xx Rollers” and “6xx Sides”

• take 2 half's of a roller and a triangular dowel and connect them
• insert the bearings on the rollers
• insert the rollers in to the two sides
• join both sides with the X shaped connector piece

NEW: Now with optional 3kg roller for those bigger spools. Also has groves to support a standard spool or a 750/500g narrow spool

Want to use some other bearing? maybe to fit some special spool or maybe just want a flat simple roller? Now you can with the Parametric file remix
