Updated in 2025. I received a request for a modified version of the powder cup. 20mm tall, dual spouts and no notch. There is a revised version of this cup because after I got around to printing it, I found the overhangs didn't print cleanly and the handle outweighed the cup, causing the whole thing to tip. This revised version has a thicker base to add weight. I'd recommend more top and bottom layers, or a dense infill to make sure it weighs enough. I have not yet printed the revised version.
*Updated in 2024. After printing one for my uncle I realized how many polygons were visible. This was likely just the result of the resolution of the original model in AutoCAD. Without the ability to edit my original (lost access to AutoCAD), I recreated it with Fusion. There are some slight differences, but it's more or less the same. Let me know if you see any issues with the new design.
This is my first 3D design. My brother reloads ammunition. One of the tools he uses is a Hornady Auto Charge. He asked me to create a better 'Powder Pan'. There were a couple of goals.
1 - A handle
2 - Pour spout
3 - A notch to allow easy to/from motions without disturbing (bumping) the 'feed tube'*
*My made up word, not sure what it's really called. See video below.
