Companion project to my other parametric configurable FPV designs: 

Get your perfect antenna setup for your FPV drone. Mix-and-match from 80 frames, 50 antennas, 40 GPS receivers, and several RX antenna options. My flexible on-demand design is ready.

 

This is an ON-DEMAND design!

Only a few basic configurations are posted here, everything else is made for you (for free) on my 3D Design discord. You choose what options, I make you designs, you send me photos of your builds! See the Steps below.

Just Follow the Steps!

 

Step 1: Choose Frame

Step 2: Choose Antenna

  • DJI O4 Pro dual-bulb antenna
  • DJI O3 stock dual-feed antenna
  • DJI Vista V2 Antenna

Step 4: Choose your receiver antenna mount

  • ELRS Low-Profile Mounting
    • single or double mounting (vertical and/or horizontal)
    • low-profile design uses zip-ties or twist-ties to attach
    • great with GPS designs where there's not much room
  • ELRS Two-arm mounting
    • Single or Double mounting!
    • See photo below
  • TBS Crossfire Immortal T dipole
    • low-profile zip/twist-tie mount or
    • classic two-arm immorta-t mount

Step 5: VTX Mounting (New!)

For some frames only I can make an O3 VTX mount. Ask about others if you’re interested:

  • TBS SourceOne V5 and V3
  • SpeedyBee Mario 5
  • ImpulseRC Apex and Apex EVO
  • → If you'd like others you'll need to measure your frame for me! 
    • Measure the center-to-center distance from the rear standoffs to the next-most-forward standoffs. (Where your Air Unit will go)

 

Step 6: XT60 mounting

Only works on some frames, worth checking if you'd like this feature!

Step 8: Print settings

  • TPU filament required.
    • 95A hardness recommended
  • Best printed as oriented in the STL!
  • Use Tree support
  • Wall thickness:
    • 1 wall for ultra-light builds
    • 2 walls for most builds
    • 3 walls for bando bashing
  • Infill:
    • 15% Cubic is my general recommendation.
    • 20-30% if you're bashing. Any higher won't help
    • Cubic is best, gyroid is soft and flexible if .. you want that.

 

Sharing & License & Stuff

The LAST thing I want to do is restrict anyone from sharing. But. PLEASE share links to this printables page, not the STLs. Here's why:

  1. This is under active development. The STLs WILL CHANGE and get better.
  2. The documentation is really important here, and I'm sure there's stuff I'll be adding as feedback comes in.
  3. The community is important, I want people to reach out and join the discord not download some STLs and go it alone.
  4. It's just a super dick move to repost designer's stuff. I've spent a long time making, testing, and documenting this and my only reward is that little stupid ‘like’ counter, download counter, and photos/stories from users. DON'T DEPRIVE ME OF MY ONE SENSE OF SELF WORTH
