Chess set with carrying case

I designed a complete Chess set that is portable. With Carrying case.

Set includes Chess pieces, 4 parts chess board, Carrying case.

There's options for multi color printing with or without multi color 3D printer.

Largest parts are the 4x4 boards which mesure 145mm x 145mm, so everyone should be able to print this model.

Print settings:

Layer height: .20mm works fine.

2 walls, 15% infill. 

STL are oriented the best way.

You should only need small supports for the Knight and maybe the Bishop.

2 colors set (no multi color printer required)

Chose 1 color that will be used for a player Pieces, Board parts and Union.
And a second color for the other player Pieces and half the tiles.

parts to print using the first color: 

• 8x Pawn.stl
• 2x Rook.stl
• 2x Knight.stl
• 2x Bishop.stl
• 1x Queen.stl
• 1x Knight.stl
• 2x Part 1.stl
• 2x Part 2.stl
• 1x Union 4x4.stl

parts to print using the second color: 

• 8x Pawn.stl
• 2x Rook.stl
• 2x Knight.stl
• 2x Bishop.stl
• 1x Queen.stl
• 1x Knight.stl
• 32x single tiles

Asembly:

Very simple: (see image bellow) 
- Place board parts as described.
- Fit the 4 board parts using union in the middle.
- Clip the 32 single tiles all over the board using the pins in the holes. (they should fit pretty well but feel free to use glue if you prefer)
- Place your Chess Piece and enjoy the game.
 

Optionnal:

If you want to use a different color for the Board, and all 64 tiles. You can print 4x 4x4 full holes.stl and 64 tiles of the color of your choosing instead of 32.
 

Multi Color Printers:

If you're lucky enough to have a multi color 3D Printer you can print 4x 4x4 tiles.stl instead of part 1 and part 2. Those tiles don't have holes so you can use paint on option.

Carrying Case:

I made a carrying case based on Rugged Box (Parametric) by Whity

For single color 3D Printer:

box bottom.stl
box top engraved.stl
box latch.stl

You need 2x M3X16 screws in order to attach bottom to top 
and 4x M3X16 screws to attach latch.

For single color 3D Printer:

box top multi color.stl includes flushed design, all you need to do is use the paint on option.
