This is for a couple of wooden light posts I installed next to my driveway. The wood posts are nominal 4x4 posts - which means they are actually 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" posts (90mm x 90mm). I purchased some 4" wide (100mm) adhesive reflector tape (see roll in photo). Mounting the tape directly to the wood pole would not work well, so I made this "mount" - the tape sticks to the L-shaped mount which then screws to the post (see photos).
The mounts are intended to be used with #8 (M4 metric) finish washer and wood screws.
The OnShape file for this is here :
Use the provided 3mf file to print in PETG. I recommend PETG for outdoor use. I printed at .3mm resolution as none of the dimensions on this part part are critical, and it is mostly covered up with tape anyway.
Note that the part warped a bit on the thin upward vertical part - annoying but not enough to impact function. Once the tape is on and the part is mounted to the post, any minor imperfections are not noticeable.
