Contact point extender for Dogtra Edge RT dog training collars

I recently switched from a Garmin training collar set to the Dogtra Edge RT for my retriever training. When I tried to install the included contact point extenders, to my surprise I couldn't get the contact points to grab on to the threads on the posts at all. I tried three sets of extenders, none of which worked. Finally, I measured the extenders and noticed that the extender base is 3.61 mm thick instead of the expected 3.175 (1/8 inch)—there's just not enough thread for the contact points to hold on to.

So I modeled the extenders but with an 1/8'' thickness of the extender base. The contact points now screw in properly. Well, all but one ☹, which speaks for shoddy quality control by Dogtra.
