This modified version of my first Aldi/Ferrex battery adapter can be mounted to a surface and uses easily available car connectors (6.35 x 0.8 mm male) as contact blades.
I've printed it with 0.25 mm layer height, 0.65mm extrusion, two shells and 15% infill. Print time was about 1 hour with 15 mm3/sec flow.
Prepare the wiring, then slide the battery in place, push the contacts into the battery slots and fasten them to the adapter using hot glue through the gaps in the bottom (be mindful not to glue the battery into place).
It's best to start with just some glue through the holes in the bottom of the adapter, let it cool so you can remove the battery, then finish with more glue from the inside. See pictures for the various stages of assembly
