I will publish all the print-in-place design principles that I have developed over the last few years under a Creative Commons licence. This will not include the dinosaur models, only the joints as separate files.
Hello Dinophiles!
2026 is righ
Edit: 23. 2. 2026: I published an updated version here. It's better, so you should definitely download Gertrude instead.
This is my second flexi dinosaur. As Günther the Stegosaurus is performing so well, I have decided to devote myself to another shamefully neglected specimen: The Triceratops. The currently available models (Triceratopsii Lameus) don't even have four legs: LAME!
So here it is. I had to find a way to give the head a “V” shape, else it would have looked like Bart Simpson. So I decided to give the neck a little twist and it worked. I'm quite proud of this little trick and hope it will be used by lots of designers in the future!
Edit: 18. 6. 2024: I have updated the model so that it fits the 1:100 scale. This is now the scale that applies to all FlexiDinos.
Edit: 6. 8. 2024: I removed some outdated text about the model and about my patreon.
I can't stress this enough, so I'm going to write it down here: FlexiDinos are in no way suitable for small children. Parts can break off and leave sharp edges, so make sure your children are old enough to know what they're doing before letting them play with FlexiDinos!
