This is a holder to use in the Cameo 4 the "Heat Active Pens" from "Crafts & Co." - I think these are the same pens that used to be in the Action Market but can't guarantee it as I didn't get any. It may also fit other pens of this design.
Since the parts are very filigree, ABS-Like-Resin printing is recommended!
The Jig to adjust the distance of the pen tip is identical to that for my Multi Pen Holder for Camero 4. If you are already using this, you do not need to print it again.
However, since it is a bit more complex to use these pens than a normal pen, I recommend printing a separate holder for each Heast Active Pen and leaving it in it.
Please keep in mind that the tip of the pen gets very warm. (I measured mine at around 120°C (248°F)). It is best to only insert it after it has warmed up, directly before using it, and then immediately remove it from the tool holder – or you can get a metal sheet that you place under the pen to protect the cutting mat when it is not working. But I would recommend really only putting them in the plotter for the time of use and putting them on a heat-resistant surface the rest of the time!
What else you need:
Please note that these are not original Silhouette accessories, so using them can invalidate the guarantee. Use is at your own risk.
This might help you with FDM printing:
Since well-adjusted FDM printers also have the property of printing the inside diameter a little too small, this setting may help to compensate for this.
Unfortunately, we don't have much space for tolerances here.
