Mounts to connect GX 16 connectors too to the Z axis stepper motor.
I maintain my printer a lot removing the lead screws, and steppers to give them a good clean and regrease.
Doing this i've broken the wires from the stock JST connectors far too often. Having to recrimp them. To stop this from happening, I've rewired my entire printer using GX20 and 16 connectors (20 for the higher amperage stuff). Using this i have a solid robust wiring connector instead of the JST one that isnt really made to be unplugged a lot. Its modular but its semi-permanent. Whilst these are frequent use resistent.
This shouldn't mess with your Z offset, as the steppers have much more clearance available this only raises it 3mm.
The tolerances are pretty tight, so you might have to sand/drill the holes if your printer isnt as well calibrated. Or increase the size of all axi, by ~ 0.5-1%
Reccomended to be printed in PETG or ABS, as the steppers can get pretty hot if you do fast Z movements for tall prints without a lot of XY movements.
Required:
4x per Z mount, M3*40 countersunk screws. ( you should countersink this yourself into the print ive dont this intentionally).
