This paint rack system is targeted at those who are looking for something customizable that can be changed down the line by swapping shelves out and removing or adding tiers.
It was designed for ease of printing (supports required only for the clips to join multiple racks, but there is also a supportless version) and can be printed on smaller printers. The largest pieces fit on an Ender 3 S1 with a few spare mm for a brim. The largest part, bottom.3mf

There are some incompatible combinations when it comes to the larger and more dense shelves.
The following combinations are known to obstruct/conflict each other:

Some of these incompatibilities can be resolved by using double clips as spacers. I plan to release more versions of these double clips to act as larger spacers in the future, but it should be pretty easy to modify the existing double clips to suit your needs.

It is recommended to print the clips in PETG since PLA is too brittle and TPU will be too flexible. The rest can be printed in anything firm that tickles your fancy.
It is highly recommended to slice with exclusive tolerances if you are slicing with Cura!

All parts are assembled together using snap in clips. You can glue pieces together if you do not intend to change anything down the line. A dab of glue is also useful to weld the shelves onto the slot of the sides to give some stability and you don't lose any modularity by gluing a shelf and its sides together. Just make sure you get the spacing right when gluing sides to shelves or you will end up with skew tiers. 2x tops or bottoms can be used as a jig when gluing.
Use the tops and or bottoms as a jig for gluing.
Use the clips.3mf version to join all parts together.
Supportless version
Use spacer supportless 1x2.3mf
on the outer sides and spacer supportless 2x2.3mf
on the adjacent sides to join all parts together. Print the appropriate amount of spacer supportless clip.3mf
to insert into the spacers.
Supports required version
Use double clip 2x1.3mf
on the outer sides and double clip 2x2.3mf
on the adjacent sides to join all parts together.
You will likely need to clean up one side of the clips that the supports were on to get a nice fit.
NB: These joiners are meant to be very tight to allow for large racks without being rickety or flimsy.
