Rear facing shots at water level whilst windsurfing give awesome shots both of the high speed wake and your mates chasing you.
This simple mount connects to the rear tuttle bolt. A piece of 3mm x 10mm Aluminium bar is the reinforcement making the print indestructible. A leash connects through one of the rear foot straps just in case.
Twisted the Aluminium bar 90 deg by holding one end in a vice and gripping about 5-10mm away from vice with a set of pliers. Then drill the tuttle hole..should be 6mm dia but makes life easier if you go 7mm. Then bend the Aluminium roughly 45 deg so it lines up with the GoPro hole (note bend it in stages as you don't want to bend it too far otherwise the Al will be massively weakened). Then bolt the twisted and bent Al using a 6mm nut and bolt through the tuttle hole. Bend the Aluminium into final position (note you may have to file the Al depending on your twist). Then drill the 5mm GoPro hole using the 3D print as guide.
For the leash, I use Diabolo string as extremely strong. Make a small loop for the GoPro side and a large loop for the foot strap side. To mount, bolt the GoPro to the mount using 5mm stainless nut and bolt (use a nylon lock nut so it definitely can't work loose). Note you can't use the normal GoPro bolt as the handle interferes with the board.
Then pass the large loop through one of the rear foot straps, then the camera and mount through the loop. Wind any excess leash around the base of the camera, then bolt the mount to the board using whatever standard bolt you use to hold the fin. (of course it needs to be 5mm longer than before)
