Mi band 5 & 6 tpu strap

Still holds fine after being used for more than 2 years. Designed with fusion 360 and printed with old trusty ender 3 from 98a extrudr medium TPU. It uses metal pin from original tpu strap to snap itself in place. As old silicone strap broke.

It was my first try, didn't print another one as it worked enough well for me after enlarging the holes. Also I accidentally found out nice way to lock the actual mi band to the strap. 

I made some small improvements to the model before releasing it but haven't tested them. So take that in mind when printing it.

Update: I printed updated model with bambulab x1 carbon using bambulab 95A TPU. It came out really well. And everything else worked fine except locking ring did not go far enough to my liking, I added updated stl file to the files section. Also added picture of the print as cover photo.

So far I'm really pleased about the model except that it needs support while printing. and that it is not designed to work with PLA which might not be as reliable and comfortable on wrist but is a lot easier to print.

I have thought about making model that is shaped using heat and once it feels good, there could be compliant mechanism to hold it in wrist. It would work with PETG and (PLA).

Also TPU model could be designed in way that it doesn't need support or bridging. Which makes it a lot easier to print.

But I have not gotten enough motivation to make it as I really have no need for such a thing as current model is so much better that factory strap. Just tell me if there i need for either one, I can 3d model it.

I tested it to work with mi band 6 as well. It seems like they use same strap design as well. It fits perfectly 😀
