Floating Thumbs Up Bookend

This Floating Thumbs Up Bookend is some fun decor for your bookshelf - either with or without the thumb.

The design uses two magnets, which are of the dimension 16,5 x 9,5 x 2,5 mm, and will need to be superglued into the two parts. I have included STEP and STL files with no cutout for you to cut out a hole for other sizes of magnets.

The base should be printed on its side so that it's less likely to shear.

I recommend taking some duct tape and putting it on the “top” of the print so that the books won't glide off as easily on the smooth PLA/PETG.

If you have the chops you can design your own figure to “hold up” the books - just add a magnet.
