This stand is fully printed and snaps together with no hardware. It fits 14" laptops and was tested with the Macbook Pro M1 14" but should work for similarly-sized laptops.
The stand is lightweight but very sturdy - I have been using it daily since July 2022 with no issue, and have printed and gifted a few other copies.
I wanted a laptop stand that would put my laptop's screen at the same height as my 2 external 27" screens, to use in a triple-display setup. The bottom of my external monitors is about 15 cm above my desk, and the stand positions the Macbook's screen bottom at a similar height.
I also wanted to have enough space under the laptop to hide my docking station, freeing up desk space (see photos), I did not include the STL for the docking station holder as it is specific for my dock, but you can easily design your own and use the “Brace” STL to substract slots in your model so your dock can attach as well.
You will need to print 2 x “side” and 3-4 x “brace” (the top-front brace can be omitted with no noticeable compromise in strength).
I printed these using Silk PLA and PLA+ with the following settings:
0.3mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle and line widthFor the sides, both can be placed on the 220x220mm bed of Ender 3 and similar printers. No supports or skirt/brim required - just make sure your prints are reasonably well tuned to avoid warping/curling as these are big prints.
For the braces - 3 can fit on the 220x220 print bed when placed diagonally at a 45 angle. They do require a tiny bit of supports (for the clips on their ends) and I would recommend using a skirt, though it is not strictly required.
