Experimental Joint System

This is an experimental system of joints and locking members. The two halves of the joint snap together, forming a joint with good lateral, longitudinal and torsional strength. You'll have to work the joint a bit to get it to move smoothly. A drop of lube helps.

The connecting members lock into the joint halves with near-zero play, forming a very rigid fixed joint.
