I bought this cat shelter for our outdoor cat:
https://www.amazon.com/ROCKEVER-Shelter-Outdoor-Rainproof-Three-Four/dp/B07S6PKN8R/?th=1
According to the assembly instructions, the roof is attached to the shelter with four screws, which means the only access to the interior is through the two entrances or, if the floors are removed, through the bottom. It's much more convenient to access the interior by removing the roof, but the ridge of the roof is rather flimsy, and taking the roof on and off will almost certainly break it eventually. I designed this brace to stiffen the roof and allow it to be removed to access the inside of the shelter without risking breakage. Note that there are alignment tabs on the roof which need to be positioned correctly when replacing the roof.
I printed this in ASA, which is UV stable and suitable for outdoor applications. The brace is secured to the roof with #6 1-5/8" stainless deck screws with bugle heads.
