Honeycomb Grid – Light modifier for Aputure MC

This honeycomb grid add-on fits the Aputure MC video lights. Due to it being friction mounted, there is no need for any modification whatsoever to the final print for it to stay attached. Just snap it onto the light and you're ready to go! The chamfered edge of the MC actually helps with mounting – even for tighter fits.
The grid limits the angle of light output to roughly 67°.

There is no blocking of venting holes, the display, or the controls of the light. Likewise, the area for mounting to a stand or clamp stays accessible, even for mounts with a larger plate.

Printing instructions

• Any dark (preferably black) filament for best function
• No specific material is needed (I used PLA, worked fine)
• No supports needed
• No rafts, skirts, or brims needed

Just make sure your printer is well-calibrated for best fit. If it is too snug or loose, and you used PLA for printing, just carefully heat the part using a hairdryer and adjust.
