This model was inspired by a combination of other models one by 3DPRINTINGWORLD , who included a method for giving the prints a Pantene finish (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3783279) and the other LoboCNC (www.thingiverse.com/thing:649284). This design keeps the normal Up is On and Down is Off convention of the switch, allows assembly of the handle mechanism after the face & side plate subassembly is mounted on the wall and includes two working gear trains to enhance look of the switch.
Print Parts - Files are organized into sets: Side Plates, Face Plate, Gears, Handle, Knobs, Knob Inlays, and Miscellaneous Small Parts (MSP). These groupings should fit on most print beds and you may be able to combine multiple groups depending on the size of your bed. Unless the plan is to paint the parts, it is recommended that the Dragon (Knob Inlay) be printed in a color that contrasts with the knobs. I printed this on a Prusa Mark 3S using PLA filament and, except for the Knob Inlay, used a 0.3 layer height and 40% infill and no supports. I used a 0.1 mm layer height for the Knob Inlay to get better detail in that part.
