Introducing the Dune dice storage box!
The specially tuned “Dune” shapes of the box has special functions:
- When the box is closed: The dunes keeps the dice separeted and stay in place
- (Note: result might vary depending on the size of your dice set)
- When the box is opened: The dunes evenly space the dice apart, allowing the player to place each die at their desired spots, and grab them easily.
Built-in rolling tray:
- The lid of the box also act as a rolling tray when the box is open.
There are several variation of the Dune dice storage box:
- Manetic vs. Clip Mechanism
- For the magnetic version, each box requires six “5 mm diameter x 10 mm long” magnets. The magnets not only holds the lid closed, but also aligns the boxes when the boxes are stacked!
- For users who don't have magnets on hand, the clip mechanism version has a print-in-place spring-loaded clip that holds the lid closed.
- One Piece vs. Separate Pieces
- For users with Prusa printers, or printers with print bed larger than 230 x 130 mm, you can choose the one piece version and print the box in one go, even the hinge!
- For users who use printer with smaller bed size, fear not! The separate pieces version split the box into two pieces, even the Prusa MINI can handle it.
- (The second photo displays a “separate pieces - clip mechanism” variation.)
- Blank vs. Hexagon vs. D20
- These are decorative design options for the lid of the box, choose as you please, or add your own designs!
