Hvaing long play sessions and party sessions with friends the original strap starts getting annoying and not really comfortable, especially the re-adjusting it to every players head for a good fit and view through the lenses.
I saw the welding mask mods but I wanted to try and build it myself, so after a lot of trail and error I found a system that works great.
The straps can be adjusted to fit most head sizes and tightened with a ratchet knob in the back. It tightens and loosens with the knob with will stay in place when tightened.
I pirinted all black parts in TPC filament for a flexible fit and all the other parts in PETG and PLA for stiffness.
The straps on the side of the head go high enough so a full size headphone will fit without any problem.
