I had received to make a display stand for the family sword of a friend of mine.
After taking some measurements I drew up a design that would be able to hold the sword on display both with and without the scabbard on.
With the scabbard on it lies into the curves of the peg, without the scabbard the blade falls neatly into the V-grooves in the pegs to stay upright.
