Layer: Your preference but the body can be easily printed at .28 to reduce printing time
Supports: Tree for body pieces
Plate Adhesion: Brims (or tabs to reduce warping)
Instructions
You'll want to print the various parts. I recommend printing the left and right body components flat.
Here's everything you'll need
Solder the wires to the motor like so.
Place these into the Motor Mount using the matching cutout on the bottom of the mount as a guide
Slide the motors and the mount into the left body and route the wires along the top channel over the battery compartment
Place the 9 Volt battery in the compartment with the positive side down
Run the bare ends of the wires into the 2 channels on the trigger. With the positive (red in the photo) on the bottom hole towards the finger rest of the trigger.
Screw the two M3*16 into the holes. The friction from the screws with the bare wire allow them to act as terminals. The screws will allow you to adjust the proper depth for the screws to make contact when the trigger is depressed and close the circuit as seen below (ignore the rubberband for now).
Run the M3*20 screw through the left body taking care to not drop the unsecured motor
Slide the trigger onto the M3*20 screw
Now wrap a rubberband over the top screw and around the top of the trigger as shown above and secure it to the peg in the middle of the grip as shown below. Now is a good time to test that the motors spin when the trigger is depressed and stop when it's released. Adjust the screws if it isn't working as expected
Place the other M3*20 through the grip.
Next place the right body on top and drop the nuts into the holes and then tighten the screws by threading it through the nuts until the body is fully closed taking care not to overtighten it
Add the 2 rubber bands to the wheels. You can wrap the rubberband if needed to make it tight.
Place the wheels on the motor shafts taking care to leave clearance between the body and the bottom of the wheel. They should friction fit on the shaft and be tight.
