A friend of mine couldn't find a box to hold the battery he used for his fish finder. He wanted it to be a snug fit. We designed it to leave space at the top for the wires and he had some rubber wire grommets. The ones he had are about ½" ID. They measured 11.6 mm ID and 17.68 OD with an overall thickness of 9.7mm.
The battery fit very sung. DO NOT put it in with out a piece of 1" webbing around it to pull it back out.
This was printed on an Ender 3 with .28 layer height in Jessie PLA. It probably should be printed in at least PLA+ but if using outside a lot ASA or PETG would be the way to go I think.
