Work in progress

I will update the project when there is progress.

Please give me feedback on how to improve this project ( and subsequently my skills :-) ).

Description

I needed a pump for my boat besides an electrical pump. If there is a problem with the power this pump will still operate.

Base

The base has very thick walls. This to make it very strong and reliable. It is supposed to save you and your boat when there is too much water ( to some extend ).

I used a piece if inner tire for the flange. In the bottom are two holes for the valves.

First test where good. The valves work fine. It can suck the water from a decent height. I measured halve a liter per stroke in ward.

Valve

The valves have a shuttle inside. The arrow on the outside shows the direction of the flow. The print file contains the pair you need for the pump.

Todo's

  1. Test the self priming height.
  2. Measure how much it can pump.

Improvements

  1. The cup under the handle can be wider. This will improve the strength of the suction.
  2. Print it with some over extrusion next time to make it more water tight.

Slicer

I used Slicer version 2.6.0-alpha5
