The Ingenious Robust BUCKLES models from rorys3D inspired me to built some belts from old climbing ropes.
buckle_17 – to built a belt from a single sheath of ~9.8mm climbing rope (which is about 17mm wide when flat).
double_buckle_12 – to built a belt from two half/twin rope sheaths, which are 12mm wide when flat.
6_strand_buckle – to built a belt from six twin/half rope core strands.
6-strand-spacer_clip – to keep the core strands tidy.
There are more *3mf files to have a flower or mountain symbol on the Buckle, using STLs as negative volume.
I recomment to use PETG, which leads to a nice operation of the buckle, PC is even better and PLA is still OK but does not open and close as smooth as PETG or PC.
For print instructions see original model, 6-strand-spacer_clip can be printed in vase mode.
Please leave a like on the original model - rorys3d did the main work here.
