This little planter works very well for cress and also some other microgreens.
I printed in PETG, PLA probably works just as well.
Print one each of the trough and the holder, then 4 of the insets.
Finally, just click-install the four insets.
Push down some paper in the insets to feed water up to the main growing area, where you lay down 3-4 layers of household paper.
Fill the trough maybe to 80% with water.
Once the paper has become moist, gently press it with some flat object in order to get it as flat as possible so that the seeds can distribute evenly.
Now sprinkle the seeds on the moist paper.
In a day or two you can expect the germination to begin. There are many sources of information on this topic on the internet and I am in no way an expert, so I will just say no more. However for me, I have nice cress ready for harvesting in a week!
Depending on temperature you may need to top up with some water after some days, just pour water into the little hole.
