Design
The Eureka Mignon is a fantastic coffee grinder for espresso or Aeropress as well as filter coffee or French Press. It has only one flaw: The grind is well adjustable, but not well READJUSTABLE. The dial can be adjusted over several revolutions without providing the possibility to remember which round you are at. The numbers on the wheel are a farce and could also be little pictures of coffee beans.
To solve this problem, a mechanical transmission transfers the revolutions of the setting wheel to a larger, easy-to-read wheel. One revolution of this large wheel is sufficient for the entire range, from espresso to cold brew.
The mechanism is integrated non-invasively into the grinder. The hopper, if present, is dismantled and the base plate with indicator is fixed with the screw provided. The gear wheel with the scale can now be placed on the base plate. Finally, the cover is put on, which engages magnetically. Now the cover for the setting wheel can be put into position and the fixing screw can be tightened.
CAUTION! Do not overtighten the screw of the adjusting wheel cover! It could damage the black colour of the original adjusting wheel!

How to print the 2 colored models without MMU/AMS?
You have to import both models at the same time. The font sits on a very thin plate. This is so that my CAD exports it as one body and can be ignored. The slice is too thin to be recognised by the slicer. Now you orientate both models so that they sit perfectly inside each other. My slicer lets me import both bodies as one model so that they sit 100% inside each other. Now you delete the actual body so that only the font remains. That's what you export. Now CTRL+Z and delete the font and export it. Now print the first file first and then print the second file without removing the first print. You may have to adjust some settings (skirt, bed leveling etc). Hope this helps.

Compatibility
These extensions have been designed and tested with the Eureka Mignon Manule/Facile. Normally, these extensions should fit any Eureka Mignon grinder that has a small, single-colour dial on the right-hand side. So the Specialita, Manuale, Silenzio, Facile, Filtro and Puristico. The grinders with a larger wheel, XL, Perfetto, Libra, will most likely not fit. On Printables are the 3D files to check the fit.
