Project NOTE:
the bearings are offset towards the inside of the coil by 3mm. This allows for better support of the inside of the reel with bearings. Friction is reduced and smoothness is increased.
The lugs are used to hold the spooler in the guide so that it does not fall off the holders, get stuck and be caught in the guide.
I considered the force it exerts once it squeezes onto the pipe. Of the weight of the skein of thread (max 1 Kg). In this way it remains fixed without rotating and without the need for OR or tear-off laces.
The thickness is calculated not to deflect or change the perpendicular angle.
It was designed to print with a 15% grid fill. Ironing on surfaces. I recommend PLA. You can print it in PLA or PETG.
You need 4 608RS bearings, 2 printed files and you are ready to print professionally with your spooler still, safe, smooth.
