Add a phone stand on your side

If you own an IKEA brimnes bed you are probable placing you phone above your head or on the side, but hidden from your view. Unacceptable in current socio-cultural environment.

This model allows you to hack you bed and a side holder, a little floppy hand that keeps your phone at sight.

Print instructions and mout suggestion

Materials:

• about 100 gr of PLA (or you material of choise)
• 1xM4 screw longer than 60mm, countersunk head, including bolt and washers
• 2x3 mm wood screws, can be replaced with glue or adhesive

Print the bracket and the support plane. The plain il quite large and will take a large fraction of the bed in most FDM printers. 15% infill is ok, particularly to keep the holder plane light.

Mount the bracket to the headboard using the 2 3mm wood screws, using the shortest you can find. Eventually use adhesive tape or glue to avoid to ruin the wood.

To connect the plain to the bracket an M4x60 screw with countersunk head. The bolt shall be used on the bottom, add 2 or 3 washers to tighten the connection between the two pieces. Use just or fingers to avoid cracking the plastic.

The phone holder is designed to be attached  on the left side, shall be mirrored in the slicer to print for the other bed side.
