My wife asked if I could design a wall planter for our guest room. Specifically one that could be easily mounted using a 3M command strip. After an hour and several different designs we landed on this version. The back has a pocket to allow for a 20lb picture hanging 3M command strip. Although you could likely get away with using a much smaller command strip. A small foot has also been added to the bottom to prevent the planter from sagging. 

Update: Added an additional model with pockets for 10x3 magnets. I haven't personally tested this though. So any feedback on fitment would be awesome. :)

 

Bill of materials:

Roughly 60 grams of filament.

Printing:

Really easy print. No supports needed. Just print in the orientation provided in the .stl.

Layer height: .20 mm

Infill: 10%

 

Assembly:

Place 3M command strip into the pocket on the back. Add your plant to the planter. Attach another strip to the back, peel off the adhesive, and press to the wall.
