DISCLAIMER: I take no responsibility for broken monitors, bodily injury, damage to property or nuclear war as the result of your use of this mount.  Print and use at your own risk.

I made this VESA display mount extender to raise one of my displays that had mounting holes really high up. My display mounting arm wouldn't go high enough for it to have both monitors on the same level.

This will work for most displays with 100mm VESA mounting holes.

I left the part that attaches to the VESA mount without any holes/threads, so you'll need to either use self-tapping screws or drill some holes to match your mount.

Instructions for Use

Materials Needed:
  • Phillips-head screwdriver
  • 4x M4x14mm mounting screws
  • 4x M4x10mm self-tapping screws
    • Optionally you may omit the self-tapping screws and use:
      • Drill with M4 or 7/16" bit
      • 4x M4x10mm mounting screws
Assembly:
  1. Attach your monitor with the 4x M4x14mm screws to test the fit
  2. Unscrew and detach the monitor
  3. Hold up the thick part of the bracket and place on your mount
  4. Align the bracket on the mount and either mark where you'll need your holes, or begin drilling holes. (or use the self tapping screws)
  5. If you opted for drilling holes, now screw in the 4x M4x10mm mounting screws to the thick side of the bracket
  6. Once you have the adapter attached to your mount, align your display and screw in the M4x14mm screws to finish mounting your display
